2007 Jeep Patriot

The press launch for this Jeep Patriot was held just outside of Phoenix in early 2007, we utilized the trails around the Four Peaks area to show the attending journalists what the Patriot was capable of and how it could still fit into the Jeep brand and lifestyle.

Now obviously the Patriot isn’t going to be sought after as the ultimate wheeling rig so we didn’t take it out on the Rubicon to try and see it in that light, what we did get to do was take it out and play with it in a variety of different terrains. We did find it performed well in the sandy washes that we had the opportunity to get out and run it in more of a Rally style drive than a hardcore wheeling trail, in doing so we had fun with it.

Now as the brand loyal Jeep fan that I am, I would happily send one of my kids off to college in the Patriot as either their first car or a second household one for around town driving since it is being offered at a reasonable price for the package. There have been some changes made to the Patriot over the past few years and from what I hear (mostly from those that I know who own them), they have had great luck and are happy with them.
